This Privacy Policy describes how Barakah Lab ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the DhikrFlow mobile application ("App"). We built DhikrFlow as an act of worship and treat your data with the same care and trust you place in us.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the App's features:
- Account Information: Name and email address when you create an account
- Dhikr Data: Your dhikr session counts, streaks, and practice history
- Preferences: Your selected dhikr, notification settings, and Menses Mode status
- Reflection Entries: Content you choose to save in the Reflection Vault
- Device Information: Basic device data for app functionality and crash reporting
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the App's features
- To sync your data across devices via Firebase
- To send dhikr reminders and notifications you have enabled
- To display your streaks, session history, and progress
- To improve the App based on usage patterns (aggregated, never individual)
3. Firebase & Third-Party Services
DhikrFlow uses Google Firebase for authentication, data storage, and analytics. We do not sell or share your personal data with any third parties for advertising purposes.
4. No Ads. Ever.
DhikrFlow does not display advertisements and does not share your data with advertising networks. This is a permanent commitment. Our business model is built on Barakah Pro subscriptions — not your attention.
5. Data Security
Your data is stored securely using Firebase's industry-standard encryption. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information.
6. Menses Mode Privacy
Menses Mode data is treated with the highest sensitivity. This information is stored locally on your device and is never shared with third parties or used for any purpose other than adjusting your reminders and streak calculations within the App.
7. Children's Privacy
DhikrFlow is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Your Rights
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Opt out of notifications at any time through app settings
- Export your dhikr history data
9. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will permanently delete your personal data within 30 days.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email.
